SPF (Sender Policy Framework)
SPF, or Sender Policy Framework, is an email authentication method designed to prevent spam by verifying a sender's IP address. It's implemented via a TXT record in DNS, specifying which mail servers are permitted to send email on behalf of a domain. SPF helps to reduce the chances of email spoofing and phishing by ensuring that the email is sent from a server authorized by the domain owner, thus improving email deliverability and trust.
