CNAME Record (Canonical Name Record)
A CNAME Record, or Canonical Name Record, in DNS (Domain Name System) is used to alias one domain name to another. It allows a domain to be known by multiple names and can make managing subdomains easier. For example, a CNAME Record can redirect traffic from www.example.com to example.com. CNAME Records are helpful in situations where multiple services (like email or a website) are run from the same IP address.
